Does anyone have a good recipe for chicken? I have a whole cut up chicken in my frig I need to cook tonight.?

I have a whole cut-up chicken in my frig I need to cook tonight but I don't like handling uncooked chicken. We're trying the no-carb thing and I can't seem to find a good recipe online for whole,cut-up chicken...any ideas?Does anyone have a good recipe for chicken? If you put it in the crockpot, it will be ready by this afternoon and then you can remove all the meat from the bone, and do lots of different things with it. I make soups with it, chicken tacos, shreaded chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes.Does anyone have a good recipe for chicken? I have a whole cut up chicken in my frig I need to cook tonight.?

INGREDIENTS


1/2 cup olive oil


3 onions, chopped


6 cloves garlic, chopped


4 rocoto chiles, seeded and chopped


1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon


1 tablespoon ground cumin


1 teaspoon dried basil


2 cups chopped roasted peanuts


1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


3 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast meat - cut into bite-size pieces


3/4 cup plain yogurt


salt and pepper to taste





DIRECTIONS


Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add onions and garlic and cook until softened, about 8 minutes.


Stir in chiles, cinnamon, cumin, basil, peanuts, cheese, and chicken. Mix well, cover and simmer over low heat until chicken is cooked through and seasonings have blended, 25 to 30 minutes.


Just before serving, stir in yogurt and cook for an additional 3 minutes.


Note





Rocoto chiles are very hot, so adjust amounts according to your personal taste. If fresh peppers are not available, rocoto pepper paste can be found at many Latin markets.
********ITALIAN HONEY MUSTARD BAKED CHICKEN


4 boneless skinless chicken breasts/ 1 cut up chicken


1/3 c. Italian dressing


1 bulb garlic (or less/more to your taste)


3/4 tbsp mustard powder


3/4 tbsp honey


2 tsp salt


Preheat oven to 400F.


1. Place Chicken in a glass casserole dish that has a cover.


2. Sprinkle salt over chicken.


2. Pour Italian dressing over chicken.


3. Peel cloves from Garlic Bulb and scatter them over the chicken.


4. Sprinkle mustard powder over chicken.


5. Drizzle Honey over chicken.


6. Cover casserole dish and bake for 1 hour or until chicken is cooked through.
Try this. Simple and easy, and delicious.





Lazy Gourmet Chicken





1 tbls sugar


录 cup vinegar


陆 cup soy sauce


4 garlic cloves, minced


戮 tsp salt


1 tsp pepper


2 陆 - 3 # fryer, cut up








Combine all ingredients except chicken in a large, tightly lidded saucepan and bring to a boil. Add chicken pieces and coat each well. Keep covered and reduce heat, simmer 35-40 minutes, basting several times along the way.
Orange Island Chicken





Ingredients-


1/2 cup orange juice


1/3 cup soy sauce


1 teaspoon ground ginger


1/2 teaspoon onion powder


1 teaspoon orange zest


3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips


1/2 cup all-purpose flour


3 tablespoons vegetable oil





Preparation-


FOR MARINADE: In a zipper style bag, combine the orange juice, soy sauce, ginger, onion powder and orange peel. Mix well.


Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 8 hours.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove the chicken from the marinade. (Do not discard the marinade). Coat the chicken with flour. In a large skillet, heat the oil and brown the chicken over medium high heat. Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour remaining marinade over chicken. Cover and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake for 15 minutes more. Let cool and serve.
try putting it a zip-loc bag with low fat italian dressing.then in the oven covered in aluminum foil.its easy and awesome.no one has complianed about it so far.
well get over handling uncooked chicken just wash your hands really good (not being smart) because for the low cal diet you're gonna need to remove the skin if you're really dedicated if not just rinse the meat off. Then salt and pepper it and next pour your favorite spaghetti sauce over it. next rough chop onion carrots zucchini garlic and black olives. let cook in deep pot or large frying pan covered on med-low until meat is tender. normally i serve over pasta but what you can do is get spaghetti squash and cut it in half roast it face down on cookie sheet which will roast it and steam it a the same time cutting cook time. cook until no Resistance well tested with a knife. scrape flesh out of squash which resembles spaghetti and serve chicken mixture over it.
How about a thai green chickhen curry? There are loads of good recipes on the internet. Most need an onion, garlic, chilli, lemongrass, ginger, fish sauce and some veggies. Serve with rice.
