********HOT CHICKEN WINGS
1 bottle red hot sauce
5 lb. chicken wings
1 stick butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
Melt butter, brown sugar and 3 tablespoon hot sauce in oven on 250 degrees. Fry chicken until done (10 to 15 minutes per batch). Add wings to sauce in oven stir and add more hot sauce. Repeat frying remaining wing, stir, add more hot sauce. When all chicken in cooked add remaining hot sauce. Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.What is a good spicy chicken wings recipe?
Chicken Wings:
12 chicken wings
Vegetable oil for deep-frying
4 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
1 tablespoon Original TABASCO庐 brand Pepper Sauce
1 teaspoon ketchup
Remove tips from chicken wings and discard; cut remaining wings in half and pat dry with paper towels. In a heavy saucepan heat about two inches of oil to 350掳F on a deep-frying thermometer. Fry wings, a few at a time, about 6 minutes or until golden on all sides. Drain on paper towels, then place in a large bowl.
In a small bowl, mix butter, TABASCO庐 Sauce, and ketchup. Pour over wings and toss until evenly coated
Spicy Chicken Wings
12 whole chicken wings
2 tablespoons garlic salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons fresh Greek oregano leaves
2 cups Blue Cheese Dressing, recipe follows
Rinse the chicken wings under cold running water, then drain and blot dry completely with paper towels. Place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle with the garlic salt, pepper, cayenne, and oregano. Season just 1 side of the wings for mild, or for hotter wings, turn the wings to coat the other side with seasonings and then cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Preheat a grill to medium-high.
Grill chicken wings, turning once, until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork. Serve immediately with a side of Blue Cheese Dressing.
Blue Cheese Dressing:
1/4 pound blue cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
Blend all ingredients together in a food processor. Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Hooter's Hot Wings Recipe
Ready in: 30-60 minutes
Difficulty: 3 Serves/Makes: 8
Ingredients:
4 1/2 pounds Chicken Wings (separated at joints)
2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup All Purpose Flour
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Hooters Hot Wing Sauce
Directions:
In large mixing bowl mix flours, salt, paprika and cayenne pepper together, blend well. Cut chicken wings into drumettes and flappers. Wash and drain chicken. Coat chicken in flour mixture, refrigerate chicken wings for 90 minutes.
When ready to deep fry chicken wings heat oil to 375. Place chicken pieces in hot oil, do not crowd. Fry chicken wings until golden brown, remove from oil and drain. When all wings have been fried,place in a large bowl. Add Hot Sauce mixture and mix completely. Use a fork or tongs to place chicken pieces on a serving platter. Serve immediately.

Applebee's Chicken Wings
3-6 servings
40 min 10 min prep
3 dozen chicken wings (1st and 2nd wing pieces)
12 fluid ounces louisiana hot sauce
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
Bake or deep-fry the wings until they are done.
Mix all the sauce ingredients except flour in a saucepan.
Cook over medium-low heat.
When warm, add flour to thicken sauce; stir frequently.
When sauce is thick, cover bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish with sauce.
Mix the rest of the sauce with wings and place in baking dish.
Bake at 300掳F for about 20 minutes or until warm.
Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
These are great reheated, but be warned that they get hotter each time!
