Does anyone have a good grilled-chicken gyro recipe?

I know how to make the tzatziki.

(Greek dad. XD)

Should I just marinade the chicken in lemon juice and olive oil like you'd do lamb?

And what type of bread? Is it a special kind of pita or something else?

I had a really good chicken gyro at a little cafe in my town with my friend, and ever since, I've been craving one!

Thanks!Does anyone have a good grilled-chicken gyro recipe?

If you marinate the chicken in olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano and garlic powder or real crushed garlic for a couple of hours (even overnight if you want) it will be absolutely delicious for when you decide to grill it!

As for the pita bread...you can make it but why not just buy it? they have it everywhere. What gyros are usually made with in Greece is: meat (in your case chicken), tomato slices, tzatziki, onion and french fries - all wrapped in a pita.
