How do people from other countries cook chicken? (Not recipe but technique)?

I want to know how other people from other countries cook chicken.

For example : This person from this country cooks chicken by hanging it under the hot sun.How do people from other countries cook chicken? (Not recipe but technique)?
How about Chinese Beggar Chicken ? In the original form, it was simply a whole chicken completely encased in clay or mud and baked over a fire in a pit. The chicken's juices were sealed in by the hardened clay, resulting in a tender, moist %26amp; fragrant dish when the clay was broken apart. An easy way for a beggar or chicken thief to dispose of his loot!

Later, beggar chicken was wrapped in lotus leaves before being encased in clay, this added the lotus scent to the meat. There were later variations like steaming instead of baking and similar dishes like Emperor's Chicken with the addition of Chinese herbs %26amp; other seasonings. Besides lotus leaf, a more modern method simply uses heat-resistant plastic sheets %26amp; aluminium foil.

There are people living near hot springs who cook their food by lowering them into holes in the ground to be boiled, giving them free energy for cooking %26amp; also supposed to infuse the food with minerals %26amp; nutrients.
